Anthony puts a hand on Ian's shoulder as he informs his friend that he is terminally ill; he recently got a call from the doctor and he will die in seven days.
A shocked Ian asks Anthony what he plans to do. Anthony mentions that he is not sure, with the exception of reminding Ian that "today is April Fools' Day! Ian, realizing that he had been fooled, admits that Anthony "got" him as they both laugh. Ian warns Anthony to watch his back, prompting Anthony to mockingly look around him. Later, Ian exits his front door and sees Anthony waiting for him outside. Anthony immediately steps back and slowly backs away, looking behind Ian with a face of shock and points behind Ian.
Ian asks what he is looking at and Anthony claims that there is a leprechaun with a pot of gold behind him. Ian laughs in disbelief, but quickly glances over his shoulder. Anthony laughs as he exclaims "April Fools! Ian denies that he was fooled, claiming that he was only looking at his shoulder, and proceeds to punch Anthony in the groin. Anthony takes a few steps back as he clutches his groin in pain, asking what that attack was for.
Ian exclaims "April Fools! Calling his mother Ian Hecox , Ian claims that he has rigged the family car with explosives that will explode as soon as the car is turned on.
