The rulers of darkness would not have crucified him if they knew what they were doing. It is evident that the prince is not the king and the king is not the prince. Messiah simply means anointed, David, Saul, Samuel, and others were called Messiah. It appears that Messiah the prince is not Messiah the King! They are different people!
It appears that the King of Kings is not the Prince of Princes, and that each are mentioned differently by both God, scripture, and plain logic.
There is more evidence I have but I feel that this has gone on long enough. The prince is on earth and the devil is looking for him, he seems to be the weak link in Bible prophecy. There are more verses to prove my point with reflective justification but I believe this to be good enough for now, there is already sufficient evidence to prove that Jesus is not the prince.
Even lost books like the Ascension of Isaiah mentions that Jesus has a chosen one, things are about to get interesting, seeing how this is the true Jubilee year as well. Whoever this guy is, he is out there waiting to be revealed, the prince of the millennium.
I understand and agree with what you are saying. Thought to ponder in isaiah 59 and 63 where it says there was no intercessor. Isaiah 59 saystherefore my own arm brought salvation unto him Isaiah 63 says I saw there was no intercessor therefore my own arm brought salvation unto me.
Now I wonder why the speaker here who I believe is The Lord Jesus Christ virgin born born without sin would have to save himself? During the millennium son of David will be a sinner saved by grace just like the rest of the members of the body of Christ.
If animal sacrifice is necessary for this man and the people of the land, then who of natural birth could it not be necessary for? Dennis, animal sacrifices are not necessary, never were. They are a gift from God for our teaching and they honor him.
Jesus instituted bread and wine for memorial. There is nothing hidden or revealed that supercedes the Revelation of Jesus Christ. He is the reference point, and not the prophets. What everyone is missing here is this is the end of a age and a beginning of a New Age. When there is a new age there has always been a change in the priesthood and when there is a change in the priesthood that priest MUST offer sacrifices for himself.
There has been 6 ages so far were are at the end of the sixth age. No one wants to consider that the Male Child or Man Child talked about the New Testament is someone other than Jesus this idea fills in so many blanks in questions that people have about end time events. Really enjoy each one of your comments, I always learn a lot from the comment section. Just thought you might find enjoyment, knowing you have newbies reading your stuff.
Steve, Ezekiel is about the Millennial Temple. Ezekiel is not in chronological order. Ezekiel 39 Armageddon comes before Ezekiel while Ezekiel 38 comes after the Millennium. Is there any substantial evidence of that though, I could swear Gog and Magog were a tribulation thing? One ends with many months of work Armageddon the other they burn up post-mil revolt. The man child cannot be Christ or this verse is a lie, John clearly states that it must shortly come to pass, not that it has happened already.
And I will give him the morning star. He that has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says unto the churches. Almost like the man child of revelation twelve. I, on the other hand, must disagree. It has used bad imagery to describe bad people and good imagery to describe good people. For example: it describes satan as a red dragon. It describes the one we call antichrist as a beast. A prince is never a bad connotation unless God says the prince is wicked as in the case of Ezekiel where God call out against the wicked prince of Israel.
But the prince in Ezekiel needs to be reminded. The Romans along with some turks raided and destroyed Jerusalem but it was mainly the Romans as history tells us. It seems his friend Silvanus, who is mentioned throughout the New Testament did.
As we will see later…. Saith the Lord. Comment: Again we see that the man child is taken up to God and his throne in Revelation. Also it mentions the prince shall be of themselves, but as we already know-the church are grafted in branches into Israel. Can it mean not only by blood but perhaps this verse means he will be human. As the promise of Yeshua states multiple times in Revelation. This also reveals the mind of the prince, he is praying to see God and approach him! Yeshua is the King and what is being described here almost sounds like what is going to be reinstated in Ezekiel.
Why would Bible writers go so far as to mention this. I personally believe, I could be wrong, that the man child is just a man who God adopts like a son, which is why he is called the man child.
Behold, heaven and the highest heaven cannot contain You, how much less this house which I have built! It reveals that there is more than one heaven- as the new testament and many books outside the Bible, like the Ascension of Isaiah states.
But it also reveals that God the Father, The one on the giant white throne at the ending of Revelation, is incredibly large. And we know that Jesus sits on a throne on the right hand of the father. So the man child must be taken there. Again, revelation said it must come to pass, not that it has happened already.
Revelation 12 says the man child was soon to have control of the nations and the promise of Yeshua before said he would. Some have speculated that the man child must be a child at the time when he sees God. I disagree. The verse here reveals that the woman had given birth to the man and in Ezekiel we know that he has sons. Plus David keep the whole law except in the case of Uriah and Bathesheba.
Moses came before David so David would have celebrated the Passover… the prince needs to be told to take the Passover. David and Jesus both always took the Passover and during the holidays they would have eaten unleavened bread as all Jews still do to this day. Again, King David is disqualified based upon these reasons and probably more if I apply my noggin to it. Reminded because memory does not work that way when you are reincarnated.
I definitely needed to be reminded. And they drew nigh unto the village, whither they went: and he made as though he would have gone further. I have found many psalms that some have ascribed to David, but Jesus clearly points they are prophetic. I believe that the quotes that sound unlike the character of Christ belong not to David but to the prince.
I believe this for many reasons and I will share some examples here but not all because that would take forever. If Jesus is the King of Kings and King of heaven and earth, Creator that came down in the flesh, then who is this who is mighty and strong but at the same time in subjugation to another.
Does the Lord have himself? And whom shall he make to understand doctrine? Them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts. This quotes seems to apply to this time more than the time during Christs and again Christ is subjected to no one. He is the King of Kings. My heart is inditing a good matter: I speak of the things which I have made touching the king; my tongue is the pen of a ready writer.
Thou art fairer than the children of men: grace is poured into thy lips: therefore God hath blessed thee forever. Gird thy sword upon thy thigh, O most mighty, with they glory and majesty. And in thy majesty ride prosperously because of truth and meekness and righteousness; and thy right hand shall teach thee terrible things.
But again as you can clearly see the psalm is stating that this person is not the King. He fights for the King, as the previous verses have stated.
And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering and to conquer. Many have ascribed this to the antichrist but again they got the imagery wrong. Again this rider wheres a stephanos crown, in the original language, not a diadem.
The diadem is only worn by the antichrist and Jesus. Now let us observe a shadow code that God placed in the Torah. Exodus: KJV And thou shalt cut the ram in pieces, and wash the inwards of him, and his legs, and put them unto his pieces, and unto his head. Comment: Another book outside the bible mentions Elijah dying on an altar by the hands of the antichrist but again I am sticking to the Bible for now.
It mentions the ram being broken in pieces the same way the prince will be. We know that the Old Testament contained the shadow code and just as Jesus died outside of Jerusalem, the sacrificial lamb in the Torah died outside the camp! But Jesus never died on an alter and he is the lamb of God, not ram. Some have ascribed the two rams symbolizing the ways the two witnesses will die, this can be the case too.
Or deaf, as My messenger that I send? Seeing many things, thou observes not; Opening the ears, he heareth not. Ezekiel 45 is basically a continuation of Ezekiel 44 , in that more of the activities and the allocation of the land under and around the temple are revealed. Setting aside a holy allotment of land Chapter Outline Top. In Ezekiel , the Lord is commanding that an inheritance of land is to be set aside and is to be holy.
There appears to be some discrepancy among the translations, whether this is to be measured in reeds KJV or cubits NIV. Likewise, there is a difference in the breadth, where the KJV has it as 10, and the NIV is 20, this is likely the correct measure. In Ezekiel 2 , cubits square are the outside dimensions of the sanctuary as recorded earlier, Ezekiel There will also be 50 cubits around the sanctuary for open land as a buffer from the sanctuary.
In Ezekiel , based on the original dimensions in Ezekiel concerning the sacred area, the area set aside for the Lord will be divided along its width in three sections north to south. In the northern half of the area is the sanctuary there is some disagreement whether the sanctuary is in the northern or southern half of this division. This site shows the sanctuary in the northern half of the area, without being dogmatic about the location. It is due to the order that the information is presented, where the most holy section is mentioned first, then the area for the Levites, followed by the portion for the city to the south.
The most holy place is also the sacred portion of land for the priests, of the family of Zadok. As mentioned earlier in this site on Ezekiel 44 , it is the family of Zadok who draw near to minister before the Lord. They will build their houses and raise their families in the parcel set aside that contains the sanctuary.
Recall that the Lord is their inheritance, Ezekiel The remainder of the original land, the southern half, is given to the Levites. This parcel of land is their inheritance, and is where they will live and raise their families. Unlike the priests, this is their possession. Land set aside for the city Chapter Outline Top. It is 5, cubits by 25, cubits and is to adjoin the sacred portion. It belongs to the whole house of Israel. During the millennial reign of Christ, all will be holy to the Lord, Zechariah The land for the prince Chapter Outline Top.
In Ezekiel , the prince is to be given the land from either side of that already set aside for the temple and city. The part west of the holy portion to the Mediterranean Sea serves as one half of the prince's portion.
The part east of the holy portion to the Dead Sea is the second half of the prince's portion. One set of weights to buy from you and another set of weights to sell to you. And so these measurements are to equal those that you buy with and those that you sell with. And he goes ahead and tells the measurements and the size of the measurements and so forth that will be in those days, things that we cannot really relate to now.
The cleansing of the sanctuary is spoken of in verse Ezekiel , with a bullock without blemish, and how that the priests are to take the blood of it and put it upon the posts of the house and upon the four corners and upon the posts of the gates in the inner court. And thou shalt do this the seventh day of the month for every one that erreth, and for him that is simple: so shall ye reconcile the house Ezekiel And the Feast of the Passover is to be re-instituted, and that should be extremely interesting when, again, they have the Feast of the Passover as they had celebrated in so many times in their history fantastic, glorious events in the celebration of the Feast of the Passover.
The Lord next gave Ezekiel directions for the division of some of the Promised Land in the future. Revelation about apportioning the rest of the land follows later Ezekiel to Ezekiel These descriptions do not coincide with any division of the land in the past, and the amount of detail argues for a literal fulfillment in the future. The prince cf. Ezekiel would also receive a special land allotment to the west and to the east of the city portions and the holy areas occupied by the Zadokites and the Levites cf.
There was no specially designated area in which the kings of Israel lived in former times except the royal palaces, which were much smaller. And a portion shall be for the prince , Meaning not the civil magistrate; though he ought to be supported in his dignity and authority, and in such manner that he may be under no temptation to oppress his subjects; and who ought to be, and at this time will be, the protector of the Lord's people, both in their civil and church state; but the Prince Messiah, of whom see Ezekiel , to whom God will divide a portion with the great; Jacob shall be his portion, the Heathen his inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth his possession,.
Isaiah :. Before the oblation of the holy portion, and before the possession of the city ; or rather, "over against" them w, as it is rendered,. Ezekiel so, as the possession of the city was over against the holy portion, the portion of the prince was to be over against them both:. Psalms Some of the Jewish writers interpret this of the King Messiah, to whom they suppose is here allotted the thirteenth part of the land: so Kimchi says,.
This shall be holy in all the borders thereof round about. Directions are here given for the dividing of the land after their return to it; and, God having warranted them to do it, would be an act of faith, and not of folly, thus to divide it before they had it. And it would be welcome news to the captives to hear that they should not only return to their own land, but that, whereas they were now but few in number, they should increase and multiply, so as to replenish it.
But this never had its accomplishment in the Jewish state after the return out of captivity, but was to be fulfilled in the model of the Christian church, which was perfectly new as this division of the land was quite different from that in Joshua's time and much enlarged by the accession of the Gentiles to it; and it will be perfected in the heavenly kingdom, of which the land of Canaan had always been a type.
Now, 1. Here is the portion of land assigned to the sanctuary, in the midst of which the temple was to be built, with all its courts and purlieus; the rest round about it was for the priests.
This is called Ezekiel ; Ezekiel an oblation to the Lord; for what is given in works of piety, for the maintenance and support of the worship of God and the advancement of religion, God accepts as given to him, if it be done with a single eye.
It is a holy portion of the land, which is to be set out first, as the first-fruits that sanctify the lump. The appropriating of lands for the support of religion and the ministry is an act of piety that bids as fair for perpetuity, and the benefit of posterity, as any.
This holy portion of the land was to be measured, and the borders of it fixed, that the sanctuary itself might not have more than its share and in time engross the whole land. So far the lands of the church shall extend and no further; as in our own kingdom donations to the church were of old limited by the statute of mortmain. The lands here allotted to the sanctuary were 25, reeds so our translation makes it, though some make them only cubits in length, and 10, in breadth-about eighty miles one way and thirty miles another way say some ; twenty-five miles one way and ten miles the other way, so others.
The priests and Levites that were to come near to minister were to have their dwellings in this portion of the land that was round about the sanctuary, that they might be near their work; whereas by the distribution of land in Joshua's time the cities of the priests and Levites were dispersed all the nation over. This intimates that gospel ministers should reside upon their charge; where their service lies there must they live. Next to the lands of the sanctuary the city-lands are assigned, in which the holy city was to be built, and with the issues and profits of which the citizens were to be maintained Ezekiel ; Ezekiel : It shall be for the whole house of Israel, not appropriated, as before, to one tribe or two, but some of all the tribes shall dwell in the city, as we find they did, Nehemiah ; Nehemiah The portion for the city was fully as long, but only half as broad, as that for the sanctuary; for the city was enriched by trade and therefore had the less need of lands.
The next allotment after the church-lands and the city-lands is of the crown-lands, Ezekiel ; Ezekiel Here is no admeasurement of these, but they are said to lie on the one side and on the other side of the church-lands and city-lands, to intimate that the prince with his wealth and power was to be a protection to both.
