If you use 'evidently' it will sound more intelligent, but other than that it's effectively the same word. Hi, I don't think that there is much of a difference, as they both have a similar meaning, but I would use evidently when there is actual evidence to support what you're saying and obviously, when you think something is obvious even if you don't have any facts to support it.
